Oh, good. He's looking out for our hearing, now, too.
So I can assume, Mayor Bloomberg, that since you are concerned about the safety of our ears, we can now depend upon your support for legislation reforming current laws against suppressors?

For the love of all that's good and holy, this oxygen thief has got to be stopped!
Isn't it great that they've solved all their other problems, and have so much money left over that they can address stuff like this?
Let's be fair to him on one count. NYC voted him in, they want this kind of mothering. The problem I have with him is his recent insistence that he should influence local politics outside of NYC. One problem we have is that we constantly underestimate our opposition. We fight them as if they are stupid. So ka? I think we need to reposition ourselves in a more moderate role. Instead of arguing that we need guns to provide a check on government pivot to Heller and argue for gun rights in that light. Argue that regulation hurts minorities more. The NRA appears to be moving in that direction, and its overdue. Don't call Bloomy an oxygen thief, call him misguided. Be compassionate towards him and express hope that he can be redeemed.
