The Republican party might want to rein in and just kinda focus on the budget, because lately it's looking like mud on social issues.

If the Republican part focuses on the budget, it will have to admit that it has no intention of cutting said budget in any meaningful way.
I give the Democrats credit for their gleeful honesty about their desire for a behemoth government.
I think it's criminal the way focus is pulled from real running-the-country issues to things that are simply ungovernable and should come down to individual choices, anyway. *le sigh*
