Do you know Guy Clark?
Give him a listen.
I've got a couple of pals going through some tough times, and I think of them when I think of this song.
If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.
Give him a listen.

Yep, Guy Clark is one of the greatest unknown legendary songwriter/singers. In fact, he wrote 'Desperadoes Waiting For a Train', which Jerry Jeff Walker recorded on the 'Viva Terlingua' album lo some 30 plus years ago. Guy's music was on heavy rotation on the CD collection at our coffeehouse.
The man knows what angst, despair, and redemption is all about and knows how to pour it out of his soul.
Regards,
Rabbit.
Yeah, and I think his version of "Desperados Waiting For A Train" is the best. Lyrics here.
Damn. I'm right there with him.
Good song. Might even beat "You Love Me Like Your Dog".
Matt,
Never heard of Guy Clark, but that's a nice song. Good thoughts and prayers to your buddy's in hard times.
