Success!
We took off in a Pilatus PC-12/45.
And we hunted in the southern part of the Texas Panhandle.
We saw some weather, but got little. |
What you can only get a hint of is that there are some steep canyons all through that area. |
If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.

Nicely done! Good job.
That's a heck of a lot of bacon you have there. Well done!
Great! Glad to hear y'all got it done! :-)
Good grief! They grow them big down there.
Amazing@ I hunt with my dad, too, but you can hear the trucks on the road in three directions and you can walk across the land where we have permission in about 20 minutes, corner to corner.
This is my insanely jealous face.
Mmmm. Fresh bacon. NOM.
'Grats on a successful trip. 'Tho I suspect it was successful before the shot was fired.
I've been interested in the Pilatus for many years.
Congrats to Johnny.
What a great day! How did you get the pork home over all that countryside - and did I see your Pa wearing British DPM Camo?
@ Jumblerant: Judicious use of a Honda 4-wheeler and a lot of rope, to tie her on the back rack (she hung over both sides quite a ways.). Dad was wearing a Brit smock. That's a good piece of kit.
