About Me
- Name: Matt G
- Location: N, Texas, United States
I think that there's bound to be a way to serve myself, serve my community, and not take freedom away from good people.
If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.

That's really pretty neat. I've wanted a DeLisle carbine ever since I first read about them.
Certainly, it'd be neatest to have one made up as an exact replica of the WWII original, compolete with short barrel and integral suppressor. However, just having an SMLE to shoot .45ACP would be fun, noisy or not.
There used to be some outfit based in Lewisville, Texas that sold kits for SMLE and Mauser '98 rifles. They were pretty bare-bones things - - Just .45 barrel and an adaptor to utilize a 1911
magazine. I thought to buy a really ratty No. 1 Mk. 3 Enfield to convert. Should be able to find one CHEAP, with a very poor barrel. Suppressor and short barrel could be added later.
Alas, like so many pending projects, that one sat on a back burner for so long the outfit went out of bidness . . . .

Hiya J.;
That was Rhineland Arms; I spoke with the guy on the phone a long time ago, and I think they're his-toe-ree now. He did have some nice toys, though.
Here's a link to an article Boddington wrote on their .22's.

You might take a look at this, too.

Oh fudge.
If I'd have bothered to really look closely, that's the same manufacturer's site I pasted.
I blame trying to post and work at the same time.
verification word 'sploge''. Yeah, I feel that way.

My Google-fu is deficient today. New Rhineland website, different name. No more conversions, from all statements made on his pages. Does have a prototype FG in .22 and is doing tricks for 1022's.

Rabbit.
