Heavy weather.
Well, that sucked.
But I've got some pretty good dashcam footage of golf ball-sized hail putting pocks in the hood of my cruiser.

If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.

Sissy. Our previous sheriff had good audio recordings of himself narrating impressively calmly to dispatch as the hail broke his windshield and slowly pounded it out of the seals. It cut off shortly after he reported that he was climbing into the back seat to get out of the hail. The car was pretty well trashed.
I was listening on the scanner while heading home from something in DFW...I decided to wait outside the county until the storm passed.
I have always called those hood dents "North Texas Car Pox."
wow, fortunately the hail passed me by, but that storm gave me one of the best night's sleep I've gotten in yonks.
You ARE going to post the dashcam footage of the golfball size hail, arencha?
