Yeah, it's Texas. It gets hot. Get over it.
Before work today, I have to mow, and go up in the attic and get something heavy down, and... what the hell am I waiting for?!? It's going to be hot.
Those who are discussing how cool it is up north are invited to enjoy a nice big cuppa shut the hell up.

It's beyond hot here, too. And my daughter is crowing about how it's in the eighties at most in North Dakota, where she will be attending college in a month.
Just you wait until winter, Missy...I'll be laughing at YOU, when it's in the fifties or sixties here, and you'll be freezing your butt off. Muahahahahahaha!
You guys are only up to warm, Phoenix is forecast as 108 today, 110 Friday, 114 Saturday, and 113 Sunday. So just sit back and enjoy the cooling breezes. :)
Not only that, it rained around the neighborhood, sorta. Not only will it be hot, but the humidity is cranked up to 11.
I guess the Wife's idea of getting a sauna is just silly now.
100 degrees and 100% humidity sure didn't bother me when I was a kid. Must have been a different type of water vapor back then, obviously.
Regards,
Rabbit.
Huh... and here, we only got up into the 80s today... :P
Yep, welcome to Texas in the summer... At least it's a DRY heat... DC last week we had mid 90s with humidity in the 80% range. Thought I was gonna MELT!!!

Same here.
Matt, I swear you get a worse version of whatever weather we have here in SA. It's only 101 here today (minus the heat index), & from the forecast I just took a peek at, we'll be running a degree or two cooler than y'all all next week. I remember last year when it was raining heavy here it was flooding there, & I'm pretty sure there are storm systems that skated around SA to hit you.
How's your water levels?
