Better And Better

If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.

Going to bed at 03:00 AM.

Waking up at 07:00...

To go shoot a pistol match at 9:30.

It will be freezing, and I shall probably whine a bit.

I'm shooting the Kimber .45 Stainless Classic.

More later.

As soon as you start shooting, you could be a in a T-shit and you won't even notice. Have a good time!

Shoot 'em well Matt! Enjoy the day :-) We went to the range this morning, cold wind, spatters of rain, but what the hey- It was trigger time! Friends' 12 year old daughter came along, shot well and now wants to go hunting with daddy :-) You should have seen his smile!

Well, it was a good, challenging match, well organized, with competent and helpful range officials. Plenty of trigger time - - I think Matt and I each fired about 150 rounds of .45. All the competitors pitched in to tend targets and shag brass. There was a good turn out. the morning was pretty chilly but for once, we'd both layered properly. The day warmed up nicely and we shot the final couple of stages without even a vest.

Matt probably won't mention it, but he outshot his ol' man by a considerable margin.
