Better And Better

If you don't draw yours, I won't draw mine. A police officer, working in the small town that he lives in, focusing on family and shooting and coffee, and occasionally putting some people in jail.

Horrible story.

Bad things happen in this news story:

1. It's about people minding their own business and getting murdered for their troubles.

2. It's terribly written. Read it again-- what's the suspect's description?

3. The premise is laughable. An armed robber with a portable firearm committed murder that in a suburb of Chicago? Ridiculous. Handguns are outlawed around there, and only good guys are allowed to possess any guns, after the hesitant approval of the state of Ill Annoy. NO ONE is going to believe such claptrap. . .

I was just looking at that, too. :(

If you knew Chicago, you'd know that the suburbs are the source of most of the city's crime and all of its firearms in private (read:illegal) hands. Da Mayor's been telling us all about it for years.

Thank God Cook County has an assault weapons ban or people might have gotten really hurt. You know, in numbers.

Not only is it against the law to carry a gun but we are not allowed to use deadly force to protect our property, we have to be shot at before we could hit the bad guy with out baseball bat. And yet we continue to elect Democrats to be in charge of this state. Thank God I am retiring soon so I can move to Arizona.

I saw this earlier as a link from Drudge...in that link, it says the shooter was "an African-American male of medium complexion, standing 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 230 to 260 pounds, with a black knit cap, a black waist-length winter coat, and dark jeans."

the link I followed: http://cbs2chicago.com/local/mall.shooting.tinley.2.644307.html

As far as the guns used in the crime? Well, DUH, Matt. Everyone knows where they got the guns from. Gunshows in another state! You know, where you can walk in with a ski mask and gloves on, pay cash, and walk out with a Glock, an MP5, some hand grenades and a bazooka.

Damned gun show loophole!

It's very interesting how well banning guns keeps people from getting killed by guns and lowers violent crime heh?

Stupid S.O.B.s will never learn. I'm interested in seeing what the media comes up with. I'm sure they will blame it on something like Tweaker mentioned.

They (the gun banners and supporting media) refuse to see that if only one of those people that were murdered had a CCW permit and was packing then the only person likely to be dead right now is the piece of crap that was breaking the law to begin with.

Now, thanks to the gun banners and their supporters, the state of Illinois gets to support the criminal for the rest of his life if they ever catch him.

It burns my ass. I wish above all else that every gun banner and person that supports gun banners had to face a criminal like this just one time. I don't wish death on anybody but if the gun banners maybe got shot in the knees or some such place by a violent criminal, I'd gaurandamtee you that 95% would be singing a different tune.

There are always a few in every crowd that are too stupid to see the light even when the flashlight is pointed in their eyes.

I blame these peoples, deaths on every gun banner, anti-gun politician and the anti-gun media. They killed these people just as surely as the person that pulled the trigger.

Molon Labe,
Joe
